Good for childrens books. Deseret Industries is a community sevice to give people from difficult backgrounds (poverty, disabilities) a chance to get job experience. The service might not be the best, but by shopping there you give people a chance to get back on their feet. Great for childrens books and used toys.

deseret industries. most staff is okay -some hierarchy rude to both staff & customers-merchandise okay but overpriced. they think they are antique dealers for the most ordinary things

Very dissappointed. I'm sorry, but this place is not very well organized and overprices its used merchandise. Employees are not very well informed or courteous. I'm not coming back.
