I was referred to Gene Johnson by my Mom, who's used the company for a number of jobs and has always been happy with the quality of work. I had a leaking pipe causing my basement to flood, and the Gene Johnson plumber was able to quickly identify the source of the problem even though the leak was in the drainage pipe below ground. The work involved cutting through drywall, breaking through concrete outside and digging down to the drainage area -- all of which the GJ rep was able to accomplish in just one day. He kept me fully informed of pricing and options, and at no point did I feel unaware of the scope of work being completed. The job was completed quickly and professionally, mess and disruption were minimal and communication was great. Recommended.

I called Gene Johnson Plumbing and was able to set an appointment right away and Adam was right on time. He assessed the problem and quickly got me a quote. I gave him the OK and he got the water heater, returned and installed it same day. He even fixed another problem with a faucet for no further charges. Timing and service were excellent.

A referral from a colleague pointed me to Gene Johnson Plumbing and we’ve used them for all our plumbing needs – both routine and emergency services – for the past several years. The office staff has always dispatched our calls in a professional manner and is knowledgeable about availability and schedules of the plumbing team so that we get the services we need at the appropriate time. We’ve always had excellent service from the plumbing team. The most recent call was to replace a water heater that had failed during the night resulting in a sea of standing water in our newly renovated den/office in the basement of our home. The plumber arrived within 20 minutes. After he shut down the unit he pulled a wet vac off the truck and cleaned up water and debris until ServPro arrived after a half hour later. He then went back to work on selecting and installing a new unit. He was great! Overall, they’ve arrived on time, been professional in their dress and demeanor, described the nature and scope of the problem, and solved the problem each and every time. We’ve been very pleased with their services and would recommend them with high marks. We know we can count on them for excellent service at a fair price every time! Kudos to everyone on their team.

Spendy!. I called in the afternoon, I was told not able to get to my location until the following day. The person on the phone was curt- and thats fine, but unapalogetic about the wait time. I got the feeling they were anxious to get home and off work.

Excellent, Quick and Fair!. Called Sunday evening about clogged kitchen sink and I was told someone would be at my apartment between 8:30-9:15am. At 8:45am plumber arrived, he took a look at the problem and gave me a fair price before he started the job. He took care of the problem quickly & efficiently. And on top of everything he was such a nice guy! I will always call these guys for any future problem!

Customer Forever. 1/28/09

For three years I have lived in my home with an eyesore. The previous owners had installed a refuse burner that was not to code and was hideous! It was hideous in 1970, so you can only image how awful it was in 2009. I Have called multiple different companies to pay to have it removed but to no avail.. "Too heavy","Not worth it."

Today Darrell & Thomas came to my home to do my service partner check & while visiting I mentioned the refuse burner and they TOOK IT OUT! No big deal, No charge, just took it out because they like to be helful! I am in shock & so pleased, I am a Gene Johnson customer forever!!
