I had been going there for years. My recent experience was absolutely horrible. The service guy had a glazed look in his eyes like he had started the day with a drink. I had taken my car back because after they installed the stereo my knobs on the dash would not work. They messed with it for awhile, made it worse, then said it had nothing to do with their install. He even slammed the door in my face. I was appalled, I have never been treated so badly by ANY company EVER. Too bad, they used to be good. Now they are just HACKERS. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor customer service, pricing isn't good, my friend re-hooked my deck up and did a better job (my rear speakers actually worked to full strength this time) If you do have the misfortune of having a problem, too bad for you. Very poor communication, had a problem with something purchased there and had to wait over two months to get back. Never got so much as a call-it's not fun as a customer to feel forgotten, after they already have your money. I was scolded for going here, and now I know why...
HORRIBLE SERVICE-BROKEN INTERIOR

Attached is the letter I sent to the BB with regards to this companies performance:
My complaint is with regards to the Stereo Warehouse. Two months ago I took my car in to get an iPod jack installed. I was told originally that the price would be $170 but didn't walk away with my car completely installed until I had paid over $250. I brushed this price difference aside and took my car home with me. On the way home, I realized that my ashtray had been drilled into, cracked, and had attempted to be glued back together. It was obvious that they had tried to cover up a mistake. The ashtray didn't need to be cut into. I called immediately and filed a complaint with their staff. I was told the boss was in Japan and to expect a call in two weeks. I left my contact information but received no call. After two weeks, I called again and requested to speak to the manager, I was told he was out and left my contact information again in hopes of receiving a call back. For the past two months I have been calling the Stereo Warehouse to check the status of my ashtray and to speak with the boss with regards to the horrible service I have received. I have been yelled at, hung up on, and laughed at by their staff and I am afraid this could be due to my age. It seems the staff doesn't want to take a 19 year old seriously, but it was not me that made the mistake. Today, I called the Stereo Warehouse again, was put on hold, and subsequently hung up on. I called back several times and received attitude from every staff member that answered. Finally, I called my mom in tears asking her to please call in hopes that they will take her more seriously. My ashtray is an expensive piece to my car and I don't feel that I should have been lied to by the Stereo Warehouse about the crack in the first place, non the less, still be trying to contact the manager and obtain my new ashtray.
That being said, I suggest this business to no one. I have never been more disappointed in a service provided

My advice to anyone looking for a car audio and/or equipment install in Seattle, go to stereo warehouse and ask for Rudy to install your gear.
