Friendly professional atmosphere

When searching for a salon 10 years ago, I happened upon James Alan Salon. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly attitude. The other salons I went into just wanted to do my hair, take my money and get me on my way. Not James Alan. I was greeted as if I had been a long time client. I immediately felt at ease albeit a little nervous. I hadn't changed stylist in years. Who knew the Heather would key into everything I needed.

Throughout the years I have used the spa services and Cindi is wonderful.

I particularly admire the community involvement that James Allan subscribes to including services for out placed women and children. A full service salon with a HEART...that's what you can expect from James Alan Salon.

One of the best hair salons I've been to

I've been going to this salon since I was a kid. Everyone is overwhelmingly nice and easy to talk to, and they give me great haircuts every time.

If you want to get a new haircut but are unsure of exactly what you want, this place is perfect; you can ask your stylist (I recommend Keri, but they're all highly skilled) for a recommendation. Most likely, it'll look great.

It's more expensive than, say, supercuts or greatclips, but you truly get your money's worth.

Amazingly talented professionals

I have been going here for about 5 years, and it is the best place I have EVER had my hair done. The hair stylists are very talented and they aren't pretentious. The prices are very reasonable. They also do a lot of community service, which I think is very commendable. It should be exciting to see them at their new location!

• Cons: nothing!
