Great service
by Bettyz at Citysearch
By chance our regular car service center was not able to get my car in in as soon as I needed it. So I was forced to look for a new auto servicing center. In searching around I came on Honest Auto Service. Every friend I mentioned Honest Auto Service to indicated they had had a positive experience there. Honest Auto Service got my car in right away. I was very impressed by the service, the decent price, the time our representative took to explain all charges prior to doing the work, and their commitment to finishing the work within the promised timeline. It has been nearly two months since I had the work done there and the car is still running very well. I will absolutely get all my car care at Honest Auto Service from here forward.
Great, Helpful Service

They discovered the problems other mechanics had noticed without extra problems "thrown in" for more money. They prioritized the problems to meet my limited budget at this time and gave me a free oil change since they had done work on my brakes. (They even showed me the uneven wear on the pad and bent shoe that was replaced.) My wife has gone there for years and they keep her 1999 Jeep running well! I may have found a better price elsewhere, but peace of mind and quality work do not come cheaply.
These guys know what they're doing

I recommend Honest Auto to friends and family.....without hesitation. I have always been able to count on them and have always been treated fairly. All work done was clearly explained.
Just as expensive as the dealer.

Though they may be honest and their service may be good, their prices are not. I was charged $299 for an altenator that sells at Shucks for $129. That isn't markup -- that's usury. Furthermore the belt and belt tensioner that needed to be replaced was marked up over 100% as well. I gave them a 5 because they were fast and appeared to do a good job, however, their prices are outrageous.
I do not recommend this autom repair shop.
- Pros: If price is not an option, these guys are OK
- Cons: Price Price and Price
