Amazing attention to my medical needs! I was scared..... and they made me feel safe.

Can you imagine? Under 40 and told you may have a life threatening heart condition... I could hardly breathe. Then my personal doctor, seeing my fear and tears, said he only wanted me to see "the best". I found little comfort in this at the time but appreciated the effort in calming my anxiety.

I called to make my appointment with Summit Cardiology and the woman who answered the phone was kind and welcoming. She also took the time to answer my 110 questions about each of their physicians and which one it would be best for me to see. I kept asking if she needed to get another line and she kept saying that she had all the time for me to help me feel OK. When I got off the phone I felt like a group that had such a kind and professional person on the phones that I was in good hands. She mailed me my paperwork so I could complete it before my apopintment which was great because I had time to make sure I covered everything as well as create a list of questions.

I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early as they asked and gave them all my paperwork and was taken back by the doctors assistant before my scheduled time! The physicians introduced himself to me as his assistant was taking me back and let me know that he was with the patient before me but that I was in good hands, he would be there as soon as he was done and that he spoke to my personal doctor about my situation and was looking forward to spending time with me. I could have fallen over!

The visit with the physician was great, the follow up testing was as fantastic as my other experiences and now, even though I have a diagnosed condition which requires me to see them regularly I often look forward to seeing the people at Summit.

They made all the difference to me when I needed it most. Now I think back to the first tears and know that my doctor was right. The Summit group is the best!
