Editorial Review for Pyramid Alehouse – by Citysearch Editors
The Scene
There's always a roar in the air, provided by the patrons, grill staff and televisions everywhere within earshot. With Safeco Field just across the street, this place can be a mob scene; show up long before game time for immediate seating, otherwise you might have an irritating wait on your hands. The parking lot-beer garden in front is often a more reliable pre-game option. The alehouse achieves its friendly, stay-awhile status best during non-Safeco hours, when the crowds come for the reliable food and flowing taps.
The Draw
While its proximity to the sports stadiums guarantees popularity, the quality beer--Pyramid's Hefeweizen perhaps being the most beloved brew--and pub grub certainly don't hurt. Lovers of another carbonated beverage are well-served here, too--the full line of Thomas Kemper's delicious sodas is also on tap.

Always crowded, usually a wait. The food is very good, and the fish & chips excellent. The staff is very friendly and I'm usually on a first name basis with them by the time I leave. I enjoy Pyramid a great deal and go back often. The beer is awesome as well of course. If you're in a hurry this is not the place to go, but if you have time and want some fun, this is it.
Pros: Great Beer, Food and Wait Staff
Cons: Usually long wait

If you don't mind the big crowd and long wait, this is the absolute best place to grab a bite to eat before a M's game. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, knowledgable on the beer, and mindful of our tight schedule. The food, which consists mainly of pub favorites with some flair, is good, though a little overpriced, due to the nature of the restaurant. In the end, the experience of eating and drinking with friends, local brews, honest food, and a Mariner's game makes this place memorable.
Pros: beer, service
