Best Place in Seattle. The beer is phenomenal and the menu is comprehensive. Try the wings, which are among the best on the area. Perfect location and has parking.
A place for average people seeking average food. I think the only appeal to this place is how close it is to the ballpark. We went here for food, the place was crowded as it was right before a game, yet they didn't think to add on any additional servers. Service was slow, the food was barely warm, the quality of the food alone was aweful, and Pyramid has the most average beer available. The only perk was how close it was to the game. Other than that, avoid if possible. It's not worth the calories.
Great beer!. I love going here for the beer and the convenience to both baseball and football games. Good food and good beer!
Best Pre-Game Place to go. Always crowded, usually a wait. The food is very good, and the fish & chips excellent. The staff is very friendly and I'm usually on a first name basis with them by the time I leave. I enjoy Pyramid a great deal and go back often. The beer is awesome as well of course. If you're in a hurry this is not the place to go, but if you have time and want some fun, this is it.
Ballgame or no, this alehouse satisfies with quality brews and grub..
The Scene
There's always a roar in the air, provided by the patrons, grill staff and televisions everywhere within earshot. With Safeco Field just across the street, this place can be a mob scene; show up long before game time for immediate seating, otherwise you might have an irritating wait on your hands. The parking lot-beer garden in front is often a more reliable pre-game option. The alehouse achieves its friendly, stay-awhile status best during non-Safeco hours, when the crowds come for the reliable food and flowing taps.
The Draw
While its proximity to the sports stadiums guarantees popularity, the quality beer--Pyramid's Hefeweizen perhaps being the most beloved brew--and pub grub certainly don't hurt. Lovers of another carbonated beverage are well-served here, too--the full line of Thomas Kemper's delicious sodas is also on tap.
User review by kchansen. If you don't mind the big crowd and long wait, this is the absolute best place to grab a bite to eat before a M's game. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, knowledgable on the beer, and mindful of our tight schedule. The food, which consists mainly of pub favorites with some flair, is good, though a little overpriced, due to the nature of the restaurant. In the end, the experience of eating and drinking with friends, local brews, honest food, and a Mariner's game makes this place memorable.
Skip It. Mediocre food and worse service. Extremely unremarkable menu with generic offerings.
Great for Large Groups.
After a tradeshow a few of us stopped in for a drink and the crowd grew larger. The server was fantastic already starting us all on seperate bills without even asking. We are in the industry to so it was nice to not have to figure out a long bill after a few to many beers. We left a 30% tip because of it.. NICE JOB!
Food was good and plentiful as well!
great for pre-mariner game. show up early for free parking to the mariner game....and have some drinks at the pyramid. The hefe can't be beat. Also the Snow Cap beer should be tried by any dark beer lover.
