I went there looking for a specific tree. They were out of them, but said to leave my number and they would call when more were in. I was told they would be ordering more soon. 2 months later, and no phone call, I stopped in to check on the progress. I stood in line at the cashier, where I initially left my number, and when it was my turn I was sent away because I had nothing to purchase in my hands at the time! Thats right, after waiting in line, I was told to find someone outside to help me... WHAT??!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! now they will not get any sale from me, ever!

Went to West Seattle Nursery today in the bitter cold to get a medium sized planter for my deck. I had no clue what would be a good plant or plants for a west facing exposed deck. I appreciated that the staff gave me room to browse, while letting me know they were ready to help when I needed. I was very pleasantly surprised to find they offering potting service for each planter purchased, so that really saved me from making a mess on my deck or having to buy potting soil. Great local place, prices seemed fair for a small operation. Nice gift shop with great indoors ideas. They made a return customer out of me. Thank you WS Nursery!
Pros: Great Selection, Local, Friendly knowledgable folks
Cons: Small parking lot, seemed a bit understaffed
