In Short – Owner Bear Silverstein shares friendly banter with his clientele in this small, dark store which feels much like a private cellar. In a way, it is. Silverstein "specializes in eclecticism" and stocks heavily from Germany, Italy, France, Australia and New Zealand. But he doesn't snub the locals. In fact, he carries a thoughtful selection from small Washington state wineries such as Dunham and Russell Creek. – –

Bear is great! He's knowledgeable, friendly and makes everyone who comes in welcome, and even part of the family so to speak. The selection covers most everything you can think of, with an emphasis on imported and Northwest wines. Prices are quite reasonable. This place is a real gem!
- Pros: selection, knowledgable staff, friendly
- Cons: street parking
