Wonderful Dinner for 43. We held a wedding rehearsal dinner at That's Amore that was a big success. Chef Paul is a terrific cook and his staff were very congenial and attentive. We have received lots of compliments on the dinner and will visit the cafe often.

If they have the wild boar ragu on the menu, go for it!

The Worst Customer Service Experience Ever. My husband and I went there for brunch around a month ago. We've been to this place twice before and were pretty satisfied overall. I am not sure what happened this time. May be the management changed...

The waiter was so rude, we could not believe it. He looked like he was doing us a huge favor by serving us. Never came to ask how the food was; did not refill tea pot; when asked why we had only 3 sausage links and not 4 as the menu showed, he did not answer and just went back to the kitchen with a face that we were asking to borrow a million $.....

The worst part of the brunch was that he brought us a debit card machine to our table. We had to swipe it at our table...while he was standing and watching....How bizzaire is that? Of course he got $0 as a tip. We are never going back to this place and telling our friends not to go there as well...

By the way, the place was empty when we came in and it was still empty when we left. Now we understand why!

Hi there user2008, we profusely apologize for your experience. When you run and operate a restaurant like ours an experience like that seems so foreign to us. I can't imagine that happening at That's Amore Italian Restaurant. But we apologize none the less and want to make it up to you. Fortunately for us, our focus on our food and customer service has made That's Amore a very popular spot, even in this down turn.

Great Food, Great View. It's worth the drive to go to That's Amore. Though it's a wonderful neighborhood place, the quality of the food makes it a pleasure to bring friends.

Call ahead to reserve one of the view tables. It's a terrific angle on Seattle.

Absolutely delicious pastas and brunch - best Eggs Benedict anywhere!. My family and friends have all eaten at this great hidden gem of an Italian cafe over the years - we have never been disappointed! On one special occasion, Chef (and owner) Paul McMillion served our large group an incredible 'family style' Italian dinner - this was several years ago, and I still remember this divine meal! Scrumptious pasta, the steak with fresh tomato and wine sauce was especially good. Service has always been friendly and timely, ingredients are always great quality and fresh. My personal favorite is Chef Paul's unique take on Eggs Benedict, served over polenta. Every time I go for brunch now, I order this - each time it's just fabulous! Highly recommend this place, just wish there were more locations!

Delicious food in a quaint setting with a beautiful view!. They know their food here! I ate at That's Amore! with a group of friends on a summer evening. We enjoyed a beautiful evening sunset while mmmmmmming & oooohhing over the yummy food. It's a great place to go before a night out on the town in Downtown Seattle. If I lived closer, I would go there more often. I recommend this restaurant to my friends and family...I even take them there!

Just OK. We had dinner at That's Amore tonight based on some of the reviews here and my craving for Italian food. We were ?under-whelmed? to be honest. The staff was nice and we were seated right away (the place was pretty empty but we were early for a Friday night). The view of downtown is awesome.

The menu has a good selection and the prices are very reasonable. We did not have to wait too long for the food to be served and everything was hot. However, the food was simply bland - it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It basically tasted like nothing and that is pretty disappointing considering how flavorful good Italian food can be. We probably will not return to the restaurant other for having a glass of wine during a beautiful sunset evening.

Thank you for your comments on your dining experience at That's Amore. We were a little surprised to hear "bland" since the sheer volume of fresh herbs and ingredients we use typically makes every dish MORE than flavorful. Please respond to us at chef_mac@msn.com with your email and we'll gladly extend an invitation I think you will be pleased with. You are one of two negative comments in all the comments we've had on the web, so I'm hoping this reaches you and I can get a response just from you. Thanks, Dawn (co-owner).

My favorite restaurant in all of Seattle!. The food is spectacular and the service is second to none. The menu is very broad appealing to everyone. Call in advance to reserve one of their window tables for an incredible sunset view over the city. That's Amore is a true neighborhood gem! Also an excellent place to take out of town guests.

We invite you to join us on Saturday and Sunday brunch from 10-2. Please note, we'll still be open every night for dinner, but have scaled back our lunch to include Fridays only, starting at 11:30. Of course lunch items can also be enjoyed Sat/Sun now too!

Thanks again!

INCREDIBLE. I have experience several time the incredible food from That's Amore! and have not once been less than exctatic. The balance of flavors is,without reserve, the best I have had in Seattle; and I eat out daily [not at Taco Time or venues of similar nature]. The quality of ingredients is significantly above par [e.g. the tomatoes in the pasta salad, olives, and meats]. Presentation is incredible, as is service and value. I have yet to find a resturant in Seattle the can compare with the level of quality That's Amore! has to offer, combine with the value, which is incredible. The flavors of the dishes meld well together and compliment each other without over powering one another creating one of the most enjoyable eating experiences I have had yet. HIGHLY recommended.
