Vintage Costumers stitches up fashions from the past 700 years and rents them out to homecoming queens, Renaissance fairgoers and just about anyone else who has an occasion to look smashing. The three-floor rental-only shop on Roosevelt has been creating head-turning costumes, such as 14th century suits of armor or Elizabethan gowns, for the past 25 years. Other attire runs the gamut from an antique lace Shirley Temple Dress (for grown-ups) to a classic powder-blue tux.
