Salon in the Park is Great!!. Jayne at Salon in the Park has done my hair for ages and she always does a fantastic job. I have gotten numerous compliments over the years about her haircuts. She listens and does what I ask. Christie is equally as good. This is a great spot to go for reasonably priced and great hair cuts, colors, etc. Note: Jesse is the previous owner and is not working here anymore.

It's so great to be listened to. When I see people I haven't seen for months, the first thing they say to me is to complement me on my hair. About a year ago, I took a picture of a haircut I'd always wanted but never got close to, and now I have it thanks to Janie.

Terible Hair Cut. Received a horrible hair cut from the owner - the next day when getting ready for work, I found a small section of hair that did not get trimmed and hung down at least 3/4 of an inch below the rest of my hair. When I went and tried to cancel my next appointment, the person answering the phone said she couldn't deal with the owners appointments and that I need to call and track him down at his new salon in Federal Way. Such bad service both from the owner and his employeess, I do not recommend this salon for any service.

Terrible customer service and technique. yeah, i used to go to salon in the park. they'd wash my hair and try to brush it from my scalp to the ends. i keep yelling at them to brush it from the ends to the top....they were just making the knots worse. then, the owner would FINALLY get to me after i've been sitting in the chair for 35min (he's that late getting to me for my appointment) and hardly spent any time trimming. he didnt even ask me how i wanted it trimmed! I like my hair in the back to be rounded, but he cut a solid straight line. IT WAS HORRID....and then he used a flat iron on my hair. the number one thing you might think of with thin hair is to NOT use a flat iron on it, it makes it look thinner. anyways, the guy charged me $40 and told me he usually charges $50 for his hair cuts, but would make an exception this time. WHAT??!!!! he spent less than 3min on my hair!You know what Jesse, keep your money dude, you obviously need it more than me. i will never step foot in your establishment again!

YOU ARE AWESOME JESSE. Jesse has been taking care of me for years. He knows his color and how to apply it to get the best, most complementary results. He is always willing to change my style to keep it always looking new and amazing.

Love Them ALL!. I have some tough hair to tame...however the job gets done RIGHT with Salon In The Park! Curly hair that likes to frizz and usually loses hair color fast - - - not ever since I met Jessie and the rest of his knowledgable staff. They all talk to eachother - nobody is snooty and they all take great ideas or suggestions from one another. Geesh - if Jessie is teaching someone new how to cut my curly hair or smooth it out without damaging it I think that is awesome. We always have fun chatting about whatever the topic of the day is! Of course I know Jessie the best because I have followed him around for roughly 5 years but I look forward to knowing more of his awesome and dedicated staff like Michelle and DeShawn! (they were there last time I was...good job hiring them Jessie!)

TWO THUMBS UP - THEY DON'T MAKE BUSINESSES LIKE THIS ANYMORE! :-)

p.s. I agree with a previous review posting...they always want to make sure YOU are satisfied, be honest with the stylists and you will walk away EXTRA happy!

Excellent & Professional Staff, Extremely knowledgable Full Service!. I headed out to Salon in the Park, based upon a recomendation from a friend. I was so impressed. DeShon was my stylist / colorist, and did an AMAZING job on the cut and color! Wow! The color looks really good against my skin tone, she mixed just the right shade... The cut works well whether I wear my hair curly, straight or with hot rollers. A very Versatile cut! I have recieved so many compliments, I will return! Prices are resonable, and it is really easy to get to! I was able to meet the owner, and he was just as friendly AND very knowledgable as well. I will definately return for more products and service! THANKS!!

I am one of the beautiful people now!!!. Well the lovely and talented DeShon cut my hair two weeks ago and it still looks great.She has a gentle touch and as a man who obsesses over his hair...that is very important.We consulted briefly about my style prefference and wether or not I use product and a few short moments later I was looking in the mirror at a man who I can only describe as gorgeous!!Thank you Salon in the Park for keeping such knowledgeable staff on hand!!!Thanks DeShon!!!

J.E.S.S.E- GOOOOOOOOOOOO JESSE!. Jesse, the owner is totally awesome. I have gone to him since 2003 and have never been anywhere since! WIth him I am not afraid to try new things and my color is TO DIE FOR! I have dark hair and am always looking for the perfect balance when getting a foil. He gets my color just how I want it, EVERYTIME! I consider Jesse to be an artist and would reccomend him for all hair types! THANKS JESSE!
