Highly Recommend.. We have been very happy with Dr. Schade and Jessie. They have both been very helpful in helping us care for our aging cat.

We love the small, cat only practice. Our cat likes it too. The clinic is very calm and we get very personal attention.

Dr Schade is open to new approaches to treating CRF and finding what works best for us and our cat. We are very grateful to have new tools to use to improve the quality of our cat's life. She is very understanding that much of our success depends on our cat, and we work together and adjust as necessary.

We have been going to Cat Clinic for 11 years and look forward to many more years of excellent veterinary care for our cat.

Great place to take your cats!. After going to Dr. Romatowski and his assistant Wendy for a over 10 years with our 4 cats and receiving excellent care, I was hesitant to go to the new vet not knowing if she would live up to my expectations. After taking 3 of my cats to her in the last month with health issues I can say I am just as impressed with the new owner Dr. Schade and her assistant Jessie. They are both very comfortable and relaxed with my cats and me. Also, they were willing to answer my numerous questions and explain things in a non-technical way that I could understand. They were up front about the cost of any procedures and the pros/cons of doing them. Prior to Dr. R. and Wendy leaving they both had worked with Dr. S. for a while and said she was a good vet without any hesitation. I would still recommend this clinic to everyone I know.

Highly Recomment. I have 2 Cats that see Dr Romatowski...he is very experienced and knows what he is doing when it comes to cats. I am very happy that it is a CATS only clinic. Both of my cats are extremely calm there and do not have issues. The costs are very reasonable. I have been very impressed and would not go to go any other Clinic.

Best Vet in Seattle!!!. I've had a cat for 5 years and this is the first time I found a vet that I intend to stay with. We called to make an appointment and they were able to see us the very next morning. They took photos for my records to keep of the procedure before & after. I can't thank Dr Romatowski enough! He's by far the best vet I've ever had and his assistant was so friendly & knowledgeable. My cat was in & out and healed in just two weeks. Not only was this the best experience I ever had, but it was the most affordable as well.

Most Wonderful Vet I have ever met. After much research online, I came across some really good reviews regarding Dr. Joseph Romatowski. I decided to give him a try and have never turned back. He is a wonderful vet. Very knowledgeable and really knows his stuff regarding cats. I have brought in three of our cats to him and have had wonderful experiences with the way he treated all three of them. Now, I should say that I'm some what hard on vets, because we consider our cats as our children. Saying that, we have been to several that never met up to my standards until know. Dr. Romatoski's prices are fantastic, his care is outstanding, and he is always willing to help in anyway possible. I have recommended him to everyone I know. Please give him a try. You will not be disappointed!

Not good since Dr. Joe left - written July 28, 2011. Dr. Joe Romatowski was the best. He retired and the new vet told me she will not continue with my cat's regime - which has kept him alive and well for the past 18 months with cancer - because "She doesn't do it that way." She wouldn't even listen to me when I told her his leg and hip are too sore and he should give him his shot in the neck. "I don't do it that way." So we are looking for a new vet and Dr. Romatowski will be hard to replace.

Very Good care.. One of my kittys had to have all his teeth pulled and for some reason I thought I should keep them. Even though it was after hours and Im sure she would have wanted to do anything else, Wendy helped my dig through the trash for Bubbas teeth. Now thats customer service! Dr. R is alway ready to answer questions and will explain things until you really do understand. Its easy to see that they both really care about your animal.

The best vet in the world. Dr. Romatowski and his assistant Wendy have to be the most caring people I've ever met. I've taken Stolli there for several years and they treat us like family. I recently lost Stolli to old age and diabetes. Dr. Romatowski and Wendy were so compassionate and helped me thru one of the hardest times of my life. I can't say enough nice things about them. I've been to plenty of vets but no like Dr. Romatowski. We will never go anywhere else.

Highly competent, caring, reasonable priced felines-only clinic. Despite the proximity of their names, do NOT confuse this business with the Cat Clinic of Seattle:

I was very impressed by this dedicated cat clinic just talking to the staff on the telephone.

The vet technician's genuine concern for my cat--and by extension, for myself--was evident. She didn't push expensive procedures of dubious value, as is often, or usually, the case today with many, if not most, vets.

Unpretentious, helpful, kind, willing to listen without rushing to have you make an appointment the same day, no high-pressure techniques.

"

Dr. Romatowski, the owner-vet, himself has impeccable "academic credentials (Princeton, Penn) and published scholarly articles.

He is also very thorough. I sought a secondary opinion on my cat's health from him, and the office visit I received was by far and away the very best one my cat and I have had. He is cordial, warm, knowledgeable, honest, caring.

All of this consistent with the very high scores received by this clinic on Checkbook's 2003 survey of Puget Sound veterinarians (the Ballard Animal Hospital, Aurora Veterinary Hospital, and Carkeek Park Veterinary are among the other high scorers. All of these received "checks" for quality.

"Checkbook" is the site of Puget Sound Consumers Checkbook, available at the downtown public library, 5th floor reference area. It is VERY respected and its ratings in various professional areas appear in the Seattle Times regularly*:

Best vet ever. We've been taking our cats to Dr. Romatowski for seven years now. He's so very kind, personable, and knowledgeable. He truly loves cats and he's given us excellent advice on taking care of all sorts of cat health and behaviour issues. I have known many great vets, and he's right at the top of the list.
