Great flat-iron steaks on Saturday nights!. For an old-school style local 'tavern', they have really good food! The pizzas come well-covered with quality toppings and are cooked properly, and at a fair price too. The Halibut & Chips always goes down good with a beer, and on Saturday nights, they usually have a nice thick 'flat-iron' steak on special which makes it worth a visit.

The beer selection is old-school too, with only two craft-brew taps pouring Widmer Hefeweizen and Mac & Jack's African Amber. The rest are the Bud/Miller Coors and the light variations thereof, with a notable Rainier tap in the middle of them. Used to be just about every Seattle tavern had a Rainier tap, and if it didn't, they had an Olympia tap. Being that these two beers are now merely brands of Pabst, its kind of a novelty to see it. I would have one on a hot summer day to get me started.... but if its the beer you want, the Mac & Jack is always fresh. They have a fair selection of bottled & canned brews as well, along with the full bar.

There are several televisions around, with a big-screen placed high in the back. If what you want on isn't on one of them, Carlos, the bartender will usually accommodate you. There are also dart boards, a pool table, and a juke box that downloads songs from the internet, so its music selection is quite vast.

Its fair dinkem for a steak, a pizza, fish & chips, a sandwich, or just an order of 'home-fries' & a beer. Give it a try!
