buyer beware of wireless advocates, the cell phone kiosk.
i will give you the honest to god truth. wireless advocates, the cell phone kiosk at costco's is one lousy company.
i was coerced into joining the company. the dm painted a rosy picture of how much $$ i could make: $7 - $8 k!! in reality, reps make a meager living of about 2 or 3 thou. working conditions are aweful! cramped space, no place to write, nor even space to set the entire contract on the counter. but what was worst of all was that they do not practice what they preach. "be fair to everyone," they said. " treat others as you would like to be treated." and yet, corporate management could care less about retail employees. theft is rampant, some kiosk managers steal sales credit from reps. the corporation does nothing about this. Shelly Fuller is an incompetent manager, to say the least.
shoppers beware: reps are taught to say that activations fees are waived. but lo! you get your $36 back after bout 6 weeks after sending in your rebate coupon.
wireless advocates is a 3rd party vendor, thus, not too reliable.
Boxes of consumer goodies are stacked as high as the eye can see at this international chain store.
Formerly known as the Price Club, this large membership-only warehouse is chock-full of almost any consumer product under the sun-in bulk, of course. With goods ranging from high-end electronics to outdoor furniture to fresh lobster, this wholesale superstore has got it (lots and lots of it!). While the high-volume and low prices appeals mainly to families and business, it's not uncommon to find college students trolling the various aisles for free food samples. The various membership options offer a range of plans, all reasonably priced. A word of warning to shopaholics: If you leave home without a list, you might spend more than you bargained for with all the deals offered.
customer service SUCKS!. I hate this place. I dont know why people go there. I was waiting in line to sign up for the membership, and NOBODY cared about us. They were trying now to look at us and treated as if we did not exist there. Finally our turn came, but they were unfrirendly and not helpful at all. We decided not to sign up for this time and went straight to write "customer review" card which was prepared in the store. My boyfriend went up to ask their names and now they complain that we were about to write something about them. We will NEVER go back to that store.
What?!?!. "They have the best pizza"??? What the devil does that have to do with their wine selection, which is laughable when compared to every other store on this list? Their ballyhooed prices actually are HIGHER than Pete's, Esquin's, Town & Country's, and Grapoe Choice. There is NO sales help, mammoth lines, and tons of swill. This listing proves that this list was voted on by a whole lot of people who seldom buy wine.
very cheesy!. They have the best pizza! I love it. I really love their pepperoni and its really cheap for one huge slice.
