In business since 1971, owners Judy & Lee Moyer have built a huge retail business with knowledgeable staff. They feature their own designed Lee Moyer kayaks along with several other brands like Necky, Mad River, Perception and Feathercraft.
The Crowd
A Seattle enclave located in SeaTac, this store attracts beginner to expert paddlers who want an educated sales staff to offer equipment and instruction that fits their skill level. Make sure you check out their year round schedule of excursions.
The Gear
Paddle craft such as sea kayaks, white water kayaks and canoes are featured. Also books, videos, safety equipment, clothing and nearly any boating accessory imagineable. Boat prices range from $2,495 for their Avocet single to $3395 for the Skookumchuck expedition double. They rent most of the models that they sell and rental fees can be applied to purchase of the boat.
