El Charro Sub-Standard Customer Relations.
Been going to El Charro for about 4 years (we relocated from So. Calif). Food was always good at El Charro. But this last time in Aug. '07 we had dinner and the salsa was not tasting quite right. After going to a place for this length of time, a person would know the restaurant's flavors. I had my meal--good, my wife had her meal 'and then some'. Under one of the two pieces of chicken she found hair. Told the waiter--he apologized profusley, (& we do like the guy). He told the owner. She basically ignored our concerns. My wife and I are not fussy and I usually don't make complaints...We do not look for free meals, (I am a home professional chef and totally respect the work our food servers do) but we choose to not go to a particular establishment anymore. But this was different as we have been going there a long time--even brought company and family to dine there. So since the owner of El Charro is short sited, she has received the last $$ from us. Poor customer relations is one major thing that can make or break a business in this industry. El Charro will not be getting anymore $$ from us or any of our friends who used to go there. When my wife and I got up to pay the bill, the owner swiftly walked away towards the bathroom and the waiter had to man the cash register and be embarassed again. We told him we understood--it was not his fault. I would like to clarify, this restaurant is just north of the Seatac airport- on 99, not any other location.
