Was a Favorite - Now Disgusted!

This was our favorite Japanese restaurant until the last experience in August 09. It appeared that the food was fried in hair. No, not one piece of hair was found, but it looked like someone had cut their hair and fried it with the Tonkatsu. When we told the waiter, he apologized without being surprise as if it had happened before. We stopped eating immediately from being so disgusted. We were not charged for the food with the hair but were charged for dinner although we didn't eat any more after seeing the hairs on the tonkatsu.
Not sure what is going on at that restaurant but it felt like it was intentional.
Sad and disgusted.
- Pros: Authentic Japanese Food
- Cons: Unclean Food Preparation
not what you would expect

We have been looking for a good japanese place in South Center for a long time and this place just filled the spot. You wouldn't expect a strip mall sushi restaurant to be so good. The bento dinner was delicious and a good price. We will be back.
the average japanese restaurant

I first had to to be seated at this restaurant and there was no where to sit or stand. After 10 minutes, I then sat down and ordered. After waiting 5 minutes I finally got my miso soup and water which I first then thought they had good service. However, waiting 15 minutes, I finally got my sushi. The sushi was all right and greater than most of the other japeanese restaurants i've been to. I then waited 25 minutes then for my entree. Bad service but okay food.
