Look you want cozy, relaxed, come here, anthoneys is ok but why pay more for a product is equal in always without the stuffed shirts. Ok when I leave mine is stuffed but from great fish.

Im not part of this operation other then I make the owner rich lol but share the wealth. He is a funny guy and you see him bussing tables. So if you see a older gent bussing tables dont tip him he dont need the income, just harrass him he loves it.lol

Favorite Seafood Spot on the Sound. We used to live in Seattle and always volunteered to pick up friends at Sea-Tac so as to have an excuse to visit Wallys's for lunch or dinner. Now that we moved away, whenever we come back for a visit, we plan our trip so as to have to stop for lunch or dinner on the way to our favorite Seafood Place in the Northwest.

Chowder, bucket of clams, Salmon and Halibut, even the combo platter are all favorites with our family. We always pick up an extra quart of chowder and bring it as a gift our our freinds in Seattle that we are visiting. It doesn't matter what is on the menu for that night at our destination, Wally's chowder always has a special place of honor with our family.

Get there early, and say hello to the staff; they are all very friendly, and have a sixth sense as to when to come by and check your drinks for refills. A great place to bring kids, but large groups might have a hard time getting seated. The bathroom artwork is also a great refresher from mono-chrome wallpaper.

Amazing-Best-Ever Chowder. Whenever I come back home, a stop at Wally's is essential for my visit. I have travelled all over the country and have not found any chowder that compared, even living in New England for 5 years. The white chowder is a meal in itself. The service is always friendly, and restaurant clean. Recommend dining outside during the summer for a sunny and sea-air filled experience. The nautical knick-knacks add to the fun marine flair.

Can you say Chowdah.... They sure can. I love a good chowder. I'm always on a quest for the best chowder. The folks here have a winner here. Potatoes are the right size and texture. Spices are spot on. And the clams? They're not playing hide and seek here. I have been here probably 8 times and have yet to have a spoonful that didn't have several clam bits of goodness.

I've had their fish and chips and is very good too. They run an all you can eat fish and chips and chowder which is a pretty good deal, although I tend to go heavier on the chowder myself.

Service is pretty friendly.

Excellent Clam Chowder. I had read previous reviews of this place and thought my family and I better check it out. First time we went we had the beer battered fish and chips (fresh fish) and that alone was fantastic. My husband and I had never had clam chowder before so we were hesitant to order, but the waitress kindly brought us a sample to try. It was outstanding! We both wished we had ordered that instead, but it gave us a reason to come back. Instead of the fancy Sunday brunch I had reserved for Easter Sunday, we went back to Wally's for chowder. My 4 year old son even ate his all gone.

The atmosphere is friendly and casual. It's usually a full house, but never a wait to be seated. A cup of new england clam chowder along with the garlic cheese bread will fill everyone up! Delicious!

Excellent - Local Restaurant. Anything on the menu is good but the chowder is the best of any I have ever eaten. The chowder is a must.

Wally's Chowder Still Reigns Supreme. I was in Seattle area recently and Wally's was recommended to me.

Wally's best item is the clam chowder, man is it great! Lot's of big clams unlike other chowder's with barely recognizable bits of clam.

If you're nearby, definitely stop by.

awesome. The name says it all. I was there on Monday, luck have it, for all you can eat fish (cod) and chips. For only a dollar more you can have a cup of their superb chowder. I had to get it since that was what they seemed famous for. Boy was I right, the chowder had huge clams in there and the soup was so thick and creamy I was almost full right there. Then my fish and chips came and they were delicious. I had to get a second helping just to cash in on my "all you can eat" deal. Great place, with a nice view. Never knew I could be so stuffed from fish!

Great Chowder. The best time to go to this place is on Monday's where they have the all you can eat fish, chips and chowder. They serve up the best white and manhattan chowder around. Service is quick and responsive. Plus they have a great selection of beers and wines

Best Clam Chowder Around, PERIOD. Wally's Chowder House has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Having grown up on the coast of Maine, have always loved Clam Chowder, well this is the best I have ever had anywhere. You get alot for your money and the service is outstanding. Homemade pies with ala mode gives it a special touch if you are a dessert person. Salmon is always fresh and cooked just like I like it!
