The Scene
The mast-height views of the marina are fun, but best viewed in summer from the bustling outdoor patio. Inside, the nautical theme is carried out with whimsical art, cool canvas ceiling fans and downright scary metal boating implements. Most of the servers are full of energy, but not vastly experienced; it makes dining fun, but not at all sophisticated.
The Food
Much of the food shows signs of the shared kitchen with upstairs fancier Palisades. Prime rib chili is kid-safe, covered with cheese and sour cream. Sandwiches, especially those with Cascioppo's pastrami or thinly sliced steak, are tasty, a cut above standard pub fare. Garlic fries are simply fries tossed with raw garlic and parsley--beloved only by serious garlic lovers. Desserts show signs of the microwave, but touches like fine caramel sauce and Olympic Mountain ice cream dress things up grandly.

I went here for fish and chips. The food was good and the views were incredible. You are surrounded by boats and look back at Seattle. On a clear day it is the place to go!

All of the food we have tried here is great. You also have a great view of the marina and downtown Seattle, especially if you sit out on the patio. The service was pretty good as well

If you are looking for an inexpensive place with great food and variety, try Maggie's. The atmosphere is fun with nautical/sports/Seattle themed decorations all over the walls - conversation starters. Great place for an informal, casual date. My favorite dish is the Cajun Fettucine or the teriyaki chicken burgers -- I've never tried anything there I didn't like! Enjoy the incredble view of the marina and city, and don't forget to take a walk outside along the path in front to see these things. In the summer, the outside seating is absolutely incredible!
