Worst Thai Food. Heard mixed reviews about this place and decided to try it for lunch. My cashew chicken was more like would you like some chicken with your onions?? The dish was half if not more onion. My friend's wontons in her wonton soup was disgusting. Although the host/server was nice his service was very lacking. When I mentioned the onions he just laughed. For the same price I would drive to Queen Anne for Thai Kitchen or Orrapin Thai....so much better there!

Close Your Eyes and Enjoy. Lots of Thai restaurants to chose from in Seattle. I have tried half of them as well as the street vendors in Thailand. Kinnaree has the best Phad Thai. It is more like the version served in Thailand than the version served in Seattle which may be covered in a red oil and can be heavy tasting.

Rustic Thai in Magnolia. Love the flavors here, though the ambience is lacking. It overlooks a gas station and is basically one big room with tables lining the walls. At any rate, for Magnolia we are lucky to have not only good Thai, but GREAT Thai. I recommend take out and a movie!

Besk kept secret. The best Thai restaurants put all their focus on the food, and this place does it right. The decor is simple and understated, the prices are inexpensive, the menu has all the standard fare you see at any Thai restaurant. What keeps me coming back is the food. I can count on a really delicious plate of pahd thai (no ketchupy flavor). The generous amounts of peanut sauce on the "Kinnaree special" and the variety of vegetables make it a favorite. This place is not likely to take business away from several nearby Thai restaurants in Fremont and Ballard, but I have tried many of those places and I still come back to Kinnaree.
