Great People!. The office staff at Sunrise Medical is very professional and friendly. EVERY time I've interacted with them has been a good expereince. They really take the time to listen!

DO NOT GO HERE. Long story short, had to have some tests done. Instead of saying that everything is ok, they made it sound like i dying and needed to be seen right away to go over results. Got there and all they needed to say was that things looked fine and they wanted to repeat the test in 3-4 weeks. Basically, just wanted me to pay for an office visit that I did NOT need. Also, the little area in the back where they do the blood tests and things is not very clean and had vials of other peoples' "stuff" there. I was the first patient of the day, so who knows how long they had been sitting there! Just NOT a very good experience!

I am dumbfounded with this place. this place is very special.. so special every one there took the short bus to school is what it seems. I went in there for a physical for work, they told me 14 days to complete the paper work i was like ok.. needless to say I didn't get the job. Reason 1: Took them over 2 weeks to do the paper work. Reason 2: They lost the paper work. Reason 3... this is awsome BTW..: Was on hold for 2 hrs while they looked for my paper work.

When in doubt, double bill the patient. I visited this clinic for a routine check-up . I was seen promptly and had an overall satisfactory experience. I paid my insurance co-pay , and received a bill a month later , for some things that weren't covered by my insurance, which I promptly paid.

No problem , right ?

Wrong.

One year ( yes, that's YEAR ) later , I receive a statement from this outfit , claiming I owe them $155.00 . It's past due, even though I hadn't heard a squeak from them in over a year. When I called the "billing person" , they tell me (paraphrased) that "our computer system totally crashed last fall, and the person who HAD been doing the billing wasn't doing it right , so now that we have a new computer , we just printed up a report and went ahead and re-billed a bunch of people because we aren't exactl;y sure who paid what and when".

In other words, our system fell apart, so we just re-billed EVERYBODY that came in last year and made it all past due. Talk about making lemonade out of lemons, sheesh.



I say "That's your problem, I paid in full last year, here's the cancelled check to prove it ."

"Oh, well , we have a payment posted , but aren't exactly sure what it was for, because our computer crashed and our billing person sucked , so you still owe us $155.00 "

When in doubt, just bill everybody again a year later, and see who is stupid enough to pay.

When I called the office manager and asked her (nicely) to waive these charges, she says " Oh, we can't do that for you....we'd have to do it for EVERYBODY ." Seems they went ahead and double billed a whole bunch of people who are all collectively saying "WTF" now , year(s) after they visited this clinic.

Stay away , people. This place will haunt you (and BILL you) years after your visit.
