Poor Sushi quality !!

by cindy527 at Citysearch

We went to Tokyo House last night at smokey point area, WA, we will NEVER GO BACK !! what a disappointing experience !! The place has changed the owner and everything changed. From good quality to poor quality, the portion of food has went down 50%, we ordered dinner special fried pork chop bento and a chirashi dinner, when the food comes, the portion of pork chop bento looks like a children happy meal, and the chirashi is a total joke. A big plate fill with lots of rice and only 4 Paper THIN slices fish with egg, that is a rip off for $15 bucks !! we gave our feedback right away and we end up getting another 4 paper THIN slices fish... This place is not what it used to be, the new owner do not care about the quality anymore, it is all about profit now. Next time we will just goto terriyaki place instead, twice cheaper and twice bigger the portion !!

  • Pros: you will be the only one eating there if you need pravicy
  • Cons: poor quality, paper thin sushi, little portion food, horror food

Hoooorible Service

by wiked at Citysearch

They close at 9pm on the weekends so you better get there by 8:30 then good luck getting a table. If you overcome those 2 obsticles you will probably wait 15 minutes for any service what so ever. Bring your reading material because you will easily wait 30 minutes for any food. The food is really good but that is the only reason we have eaten there so many times. However that will not be the case any longer. We showed up at 8:50 on our way to the airport and were turned away because they were closed. This was on a Saturday night and mind you we are regulars eating here about 1x per month. No longer.

Will someone please open another Sushi restaurant up north? And please stay open until at least 10pm on the weekends!

  • Pros: Good Food
  • Cons: Always busy, bad service
