Editorial Review for RadioShack – by Alexandra Bornhoft

In Short
While the name dates back to the invention of the radio at the turn of the 20th century, today the electronic store offers a myriad of modern technological finds. With equipment ranging from the latest crop of cell phones, digital cameras, batteries, and various accessories for the home, car and office, the store can outfit even the most electronically-challenged shopper. The sales associates are dedicated, knowledgeable and quick to assist and answer any questions. And yes, you can still buy a radio there, too.

User Reviews for RadioShack

The day after Thanksgiving was very busy everywhere. I was shopping for an IPOD nano for my husband for christmas and went to the radio shack in the Silverdale Mall. They had a 4 gig nano for $149 and an 8 gig for $199. I told the salesman I could get the 8 gig cheaper elsewhere. He told me that if I bought the 8 gig from them I would receive a speaker worth $29.99 for free so I waited in line for 45 minutes. When I finally made it to the register, I was told that the free speaker only came with the smaller nano which I didn't want. The manager was standing there so I told him that the salesman had promised me the speaker with the 8 gig and I had waited in line for 45 minutes. He was inflexible and rude so I left empty handed after spending a long time in line. Not even the salesman apologized. So much for customer service.
