I chose a snow flake tattoo for the small of my lower back. The color was done in ice-blue and white. I am really happy with the design and color. I knew I wanted a snow flake so the artist researched various designs and suggested a size that would look appropriate for that area of the body. Like most art, tattoos have meanings known only to their owners. My body art says a lot about who I am, what I like, and where I am going. Body art can tell you a lot about someone so make sure you find something that portrays something about you. My first tattoo experience was a good one. The artists were a lot of fun to talk with and that's part of a good tattoo experience. You can tell these guys (and yes women) love what they do. This is a quality tattoo shop: It's clean, friendly and a fun experience. Thanks Andre for the tattoo! Skigirlcr

Pros: Thumbs up - you can tell the artists take pride in what they do.

I am fully sleeved, have a large backpiece, and am a connoiseur of fine tattoo work. My sleeves and back were done by Andre at House of Tattoo. The staff there are very friendly and knowledgable, and the artist strive to give each person a quality tattoo. I would be reluctant to take the advice of the person who's 2nd tattoo turned out bad. If you didn't like the color why didn't you tell the artist to use a different color? It is afterall YOUR tattoo. Did you allow the tattoo to heal properly? Everybody is different, and tattoos heal differently on different people, that's why they offer free touch-ups on tattoos after they have healed. Did you go back to get the tattoo touched up? Did you tell the artist you did not like the way the color turned out? Did you bother to research the shop and artist prior to going there and getting tattooed? That alone is the most imporant part of getting good tattoos. If someone is walking around with crappy tattoo work, they really can't blame anybody but themselves. Ultimately, it comes down to this, the tattoo is yours, the design the color, the placement, what it symbolizes, the maintenance is all your responsibility. The artwork that comes out of House is high quality. Occasionally, a customer may come in with crappy artwork (usually something they have drawn themselves) and will expect the artist to turn it into a work of art, or even worse, they won't listen to the advice being given by the artist.

Pros: Professional, experienced staff, high quality artwork

Cons: tattoos hurt
