The Scene – Seattleites are known for casual clothing, but the Baltic Room is one of those places that people dress up for. Luxurious mohair booths provide perfect perches for groups of friends to soak in the energetic vibe, the drinks and the blazing DJs. The club's low lighting and twinkling fiber-optic stars are both flattering and relaxing. – – The Draw – Its strength is in the booking; in addition to fantastically themed nights featuring everything from bhangra to beat-bop, the club brings in musical legends like Goldie and Grandmaster Flash. Worst service

by jinxy5 at Citysearch

What is the big deal? this place was no where near what any of the other reviews described. Crowded, rude bartenders, and staff. What ever happened to "the customer's always right" ????? You're told to go later in the night when things start moving, but really? they just get too rowdy. No coat check and you must gaurd your possessions with your life! and the music was just awful. I would suggest only going when they don't charge cover or even not going at all. What a dissappointment.

  • Pros: No cover
  • Cons: Service-rude bartenders and staff

good, fast drinks and great music

by masondw at Citysearch

Put this on your list of default places to go on any evening that you want to enjoy loud music and good drinks. Many of the area's best DJ's play here and there is decent circulation from the dancefloor to the bar which really helps when the draw is big. Their calendar of events has many intriguing and unique nights to enjoy: whether it is a standard weekly night with a turntable or an ensemble of musicians crowded on a small stage. For sitting, the best place is upstairs which looks down onto the floor. It is also conveniently located right in the middle of all the other clubs making it a good place to start your night off and parking is not horrible as long as you start your evening early enough.

  • Pros: DJs, fast service, good circulation
  • Cons: after the tables are gone, you have to lean against the wall

by binman69 at Citysearch

i have always found hotties hanging out here on the weekends, but it can get too crowded and parking is not very good...try going on thursdays and dancing with the locals. they play some excellent bollywood music from time to time.....a fun scene to bump and grind!

  • Pros: can get packed quickly---small room
