Seating facility is good. Seating and sound is great. This theater is well maintained and clean.

No wheelchair seating. This place is so old that the only "handicapped seating" if anyone is ignorant & prejudiced enough to call it that, is all the way in the back between the last row of seats & the back wall! The last time my husband & I went, we're both in power wheelchairs, had to park our chairs all the way in the back diagonally. There wasn't enough room in the seating area for us to park facing forward without having to remove our footrests & break our legs! Help us with our cause by boycotting this theater & telling all your family & friends to do the same.

Weird seating arrangement. The auditorium we were in didn't have stadium seating and in fact, it seemed like it was slanted the opposite way that it should be (lower in the back, higher towards the screen). It was strange, and we never went back.

Miss the great coffee.... This used to be my very favourite theatre - still is in some ways, because there are NO arcade games, and there's a nice plushy couch with newspapers for relaxing in the lobby. BUT when they stopped serving Starbucks (or was it SBC?) with real 1/2 and 1/2 and biscotti/pastries, that broke my heart. There was nothing this overwhelmed mother of young children loved to do more than escape for a morning breakfast matinee with my delicious Seattle worthy cup of coffee and pastry...heaven! I now go to Lincoln Cinemas, but would be back in a heartbeat if Parkplace brought back the espresso cart morning experience...

I still like to pick this place to take my kids because of the lack of video games. If you have kids and you HATE the video intrusion into every moment of your life, and just want to spend some low key quality time with the kids, this is the place to bring them.

Nice theater. The Kirkland Parkplace theater is small, but it's a nice theater. It is kept very clean and I like their popcorn (very tastey and buttery). Their prices are very reasonable compared to other theaters. They also have a good selection of movies.

A little small. Nice place but it's a little small and the staff can be lazy. I like their movie times and the food is pretty good.

AMAZING !!!. What an experience!! This is definitely one of the best movie theaters around. Great staff with vibrant smiles...reasonable prices, GREAT popcorn, CLEAN!! Wow...so many great things about this place. Contrary to what someone wrote before, there is credit/debit cards allowed inside at the concession stand. Everything is wonderful.

Best Yet!. First of all, it's very cool, that the management takes time to read the reviews, and actually pays attention to what is said.

This is by far, the best theater that we have found in the Seattle area so far. Popcorn is good, and it's always clean. The seats are comfortable, and recline. Unique seating arrangements allow for easy viewing of the screens from any seat.

What a great time!. How nice to have a movie theater in downtown Kirkland. Plus, they show the latest movies and the popcorn is the best. The shopping center has great places to eat too.

eastsides only independent. Nice staff, one of the few (if only) theatres that shows independent/art films, and apparently privately owned. Now with the remodel, and the Intermission cafe next door, it's my favorite eastside theatre.
