After watching comedy in different venues all over the southland, I finally made it out to a show at the Hermosa Beach Comedy and Magic Club. I was simply amazed at how different and classy this place was compared to the other comedy clubs in L.A. The owner, Mike Lacey, operates this place with the utmost professionalism and it shows. They treat their featured talent very well and the venue staff is top notch - from the waiters, to the bouncers, to the house managers. Even the menu is leaps and bounds better than every other comedy venue in Southern Cali. I live close to 3 major comedy clubs in Hollywood but I'd much rather drive to Hermosa Beach and spend my money at the Comedy and Magic Club just because it is a simply better entertainment experience.
Pros: First class place. Great for a night out
Cons: Finding parking can be tough and it is far from where I live.

Hermosa Beach's Comedy & Magic Club is phenomenal. Club has entertaining and delightful personal feel to it. Acts are the best of the best. Great place to go to be entertained or just a great place to go and have a laugh. Bring friends, dates, business partners, family and out-of-town guests... Can't ever go wrong with this place!
