view & uploadOh My Yummy!!!. I went to Pike Place Market for some Hom Bows and happened to park in front of Rocky Mountain. On my way back I thought, hey i'll check it out. I couldn't be happier, I went crazy and got 4 dipped marshmallows, a brownie, and a caramel. They had a marshmallow tiger tail which is dipped in caramel then a mix of white chocolate and peanut butter drizzled in milk chocolate. YUM! The brownie was fantastic and the perfectly baked. The caramel was so rich and buttery. I was very impressed with the service so much so that I left a tip, and the nice guy helping me looked ever so grateful. He was super sweet and helpful since i couldn't make up my mind it all looked so great! Please visit this wonderful gem of a place, you won't be sorry:) I wish there was one closer to me, although maybe it's a good thing there isn't or i'd be there all the time!
NASTY AND RUDE - Find another chocholate shop.
Here is the letter I sent to their customer service, this sums up my experience.
Myself and 2 others visited your chocolate shop yesterday (June 6th) in the early evening hours. I asked if they had anything with peanut butter and no white chocolate - the man said the peanut butter finger did not have any white chocolate, although the other man behind the counter said it did have white chocolate so one of them had no idea about the product they were selling - I asked one of them to describe it and he did a half a** job of that, finally I just decided what the hell I'll try the peanut butter finger. That was a mistake, it tasted like a cheap peanut butter 3 musketeer bar. I really was dissatisfied (as were the other 2 people I was with who had the same thing). I asked if I could exchange it, told them it tasted like it had nougat in it which I am absolutely repulsed by, the man was rude and basically told me I was crazy for even thinking it tasted like nougat. I was totally disgusted with the whole experience and I will find another place to get chocolate in Seattle, your establishment is terrible. I'll go ahead and attach this message to every review of your store I can find, thanks for the terrible experience and waste of money.
Wonderful Customer Service. I have read the reviews on this location, and I was actually very surprised. I have been there on more than one occasion, and have never had a problem. I have been helped by many of the clerks there. The morning and night crew especially are just the sweetest people. I love their chocolate, especially their strawberries. I don't know why anyone would have a complaint about them or their items. They are wonderful.
Colorado-based confectioner purveys premium handmade sweets throughout the U.S. and abroad..
In Short
Based in Durango, Colo., this chocolatier has been packaging sweetness since 1981. Over 300 candies and confectionery products, like the famous "Bear"--a paw-sized concoction of chewy caramel, roasted nuts and heavy chocolate--have made the Crail family business an international success. Mountainous mounds of clusters, caramels, creams and truffles are just some of the ready-made treats available in stores and online. In-store candy-making demonstrations using copper kettles and gas-fired stoves are also popular.
Good carmel, awful clerks.. The persons working were horrible and rude. The girl with her lip pierced was awfull , not helpful or friendly. I waited for help until the cook who seemed like the only one who cared i was there stoped in the middle of weighing items out helped me with my purchase. Great carmel ....terrible clerks.
Open Late. The customer service is excellent. They have a wide variety of chocolates and fudges. You get to watch them making the fudge. Fantastic gourmet.
User review by katehowards. Terrible customer service, the girl working there last night was very unpleasant. She did not greet us, paid attention, said the coffee machine is broken and than said it is actually closed for the night, even though they were closing in 2 hours.
