Do not go here

I heard that this was an old fashioned place with good food and I could not have been more disappointed. The food was nothing special and overpriced and the service was not just bad it was horrible. Apparently ignoring you, getting your order wrong, putting items on the bill that you didn't order, and then acting like you were being unreasonable to point it out is their idea of how to treat a customer. I tried to complain and our waitress actually told me "if you don't like it, go somewhere else". And that is exactly what I will do.

i went to this place a few times for the supposed good food, but the service is terrible and rude and i will not be going back again. the soups might as well be used for wallpaper paste.u will wait in line till a waitress feels like noticing u, and then wait a long time for your order. if u attempt to complain to the management she becomes rude as well. do yourself a favor, stay away. now i know why the restaraunt was half empty. my friend, who normally tips well, did not leave a tip because the service was so bad.
Ah, nostalgia!

This place is a little piece of the 50's (or maybe 70's), better than Denny's with the atmosphere of a high class diner. Anybody would feel welcome here and the menu is extensive enough to offer something to please everyone. The wait staff are all feisty, as all good waitresses should be, and know the regulars by name as well as by their favorite dishes. Fine dining it ain't, but the food is good, plentiful, and won't break your pocketbook.
Just like it was 15 years ago

I came here on a recent Sunday with a friend, seeking the salt and grease a good Saturday night out will demand of one the next day. Entering the restaurant it all hit me at once; the counter with candy display, the rotating pie rack, I had seen it all before as a young lad coming here with my parents. And really, nothing has changed. Though I didn't remember the part with all the people having 3 martini breakfasts. Sticking to orange juice myself, I enjoyed my competently executed sausage, eggs, and hash-browns, satisfied enough to try to return a week later on my own with just a book for company. The breakfast bar was full as regular customers stared me down. I left defeated and hungry.
