Editorial Review for Schmitz Preserve Park – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
This large park is one of those precious places in the middle of a large city where you can forget the hubbub and get in touch with the smells, sounds and feel of nature, almost as it was 100 years ago. Known mostly to native Seattleites, it is a well-hidden gem--marked only by a small, wooden sign on Southwest Admiral Way. Its one main trail cuts diagonally through the rectangular-shaped property.
