It's definitely a neighborhood bunch out for a beer and a bite, but even interlopers are warmly welcomed in this woody, well-lit but not too bright bar. Take a seat at the bar and watch them hustle in the kitchen, share a table with other beer drinkers or grab one of the more private booths. Wherever you sit you'll have a view of the tube since there are eight strategically placed TVs for catching a game.
The Draw
Decent chicken wings, sandwiches and burgers go well with the healthy selection of brews (including some from the U.K.), but skip the pre-fab fries. If you're in the mood for dinner, try one of the nightly rotating specials or menu standards: spaghetti and meatballs, lasagne, seafood dishes and the totally tender prime rib on Saturday night.

Met up with some friends here last week. I had never been out to this part of Seattle and was happy to see this place out there. We went to watch the Gonzaga game and they had the sound on. It was a great, chill atmosphere and not at all stuffy like you would expect from this neighborhood. The nachos were really good and I had a meat loaf sandwich that was to die for. I would make the trip from West Seattle any time to watch another game here.

After a long week of cabin fever, I decided it would be nice to head down to The Attic to catch some football and have lunch. Upon arriving, I found the place to be very busy. Everyone seemed to be happy and having a good time. I posted up at the bar and was soon greeted by the staff and offered a beer. After ordering my beer, I noticed that the staff had their hands full! Not only was it busy, but they were having dishwasher issues and were having to wash every dish by hand! It didn't seem to phase them one bit, since the service was excellent and my burger (The Cluttered) was probably the best I've had in months. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for some great food and a comfortable atmosphere. I must say, I had a completely different experience than Slappygoodtime. I felt the staff to be very apologetic for the inconvenience and were only charging happy hour prices. If you going out to relax and have a good time, I would suggest The Attic in a heartbeat.

I discovered the Attic over the summer and have been going there about every week or so since. The service was always crappy, but tonight it was just too much. The restuarant was only about 1/3 full. The 4 servers spent the entire night hanging out behind the bar giggling and ignoring the customers. After about 25 minutes, someone dropped by to take our order. Our beer came about 10 minutes later in 8 ounce plastic cups. Our food showed up after about 10 more minutes. Never saw a utensil or a napkin. Server never came back to our table. We gave up after 20 minutes and just made a guess at how much our bill was. Left cash on the table and left. Avoid or go to Bings, which is only a block away.
