Well, the first time I came to the Newcastle Golf Club was for my senior year prom a year ago. Everyone was dressed formal. All Gents and Ladies. I didn't exactly had what the menu had offered. It was just a buffets style dinner. Which was delicious. I am about to go there for an actual dinner. Do you know if the Calcutta Grill is on the right side or the left side when looking from the parking lot? And is the pub menu available during dinner? I'm excited to see the sunset! Are we allowed to stay out after the place closes at 10pm? Like outside on the deck looking at the night view of the cities? on a Sunday perhaps? Thanks.

I live in the Golf Course and go to the Calcutta Grill alot but twice I've had very bad experiences with the food. Once a velcro clip was found in my salad and the second time, items were put in my salad which I definately cannot eat. They also forgot chicken in the Cobb salad so it was mostly just lettuce and tomatoes for $16. The manager was so apologetic and understands my concerns since I really want this restaurant to succeed since it's so close to me and it's one of the best views nearby! The menu is so limited for the clientele that wants to come there (families, friends.....not just golfers!) I hope they eventually get their act together....I'm hoping they do soon!

Do you want to feel like you have gone to another country? This restaurant has outstanding territorial views of Seattle, Bellevue, Olympic Mountains, etc. The food is reasonably price and about average though.

If you're looking for a quick drink after a round of golf, head to the English pub-themed bar attached to the restaurant.
When to Go:
Brunch is offered on Sundays from 10am to 2pm--and reservations are highly recommended.
