In Short – For more than 100 years, students, professors and the public have scanned the night skies through the telescopes of this observatory, located at the north entrance of the University of Washington campus. Star fans first trekked the 25 steps to the top of the observatory's dome back in 1892. Now the public can view the stars through an old-fashioned, six-inch refractive telescope on Monday and Thursday evenings, with times varying by season. – – –
