What People Are Saying About Bing's Restaurant

In Short – Dim lighting and funky decor imply an upscale bent, but locals are at the bar, couples coo in red-vinyl booths and families gather for after-soccer feasts. The menu includes burgers as well as a Gorgonzola chicken sandwich on a fresh ciabatta roll. Share a heap of Bing's wings with hot sauce to munch alongside a pint.
Upscale burgers!

Very friendly place in Madison Park. Food exceeds expectations from the apps all the way through the entrees. The staff is friendly and professional. The burgers are just amazing, as well as the pan friend oysters- yummm!
Will definitely go there again.
- Pros: Great food
Bummed

Disappointed.
We ordered the onion rings to share as a starter. At $9.75, we expected a good pile for three to share. They came out with my order - while my friends waited. Seriously, there were 10 small/medium rings which were cold. My friend sent them back while I took a bite of my mushroom burger. The taste was ok, but it was very soggy and also luke warm. The new basket of rings came out - hot this time, but still only a paltry portion.
My guess is that there are some decent things on the menu - but in Madison Park, I will skip Bing's next time and go to the Attic.
- Pros: cute decor, kid friendly and great location
- Cons: cold, overpriced food
Good but a little expensive

The burgers here are really good. I had the mushroom burger while my friend had a vegeratian burger. They were both really really good! The server was attentive and nice. If you are in a mood of a good burger, this is the right place to go.
- Pros: Great food and service
Great neighborhood hangout for burgers, salads, fish & chips.

Bing's is consistent, high quality and clean. Service is friendly, the specials are well devised and presented.
Not worth the price, or the price of service!

I have eaten here more times than I can count, and have never ever had a great meal. Everything is over priced at least for the quality. It just doesn't quite cut it for me. Service is mediocre, management is mediocre and food is below average. There are often a lot of children. I think buisnesses should be family friendly, but when there are 5-7 kids actually RUNNING around a place, I wonder if I want to pay to have a meal there.
Not to mention that one time our server got absolutely every order wrong, after not putting in / forgetting our brunch order. So, we sat and waited almost an hour after ordering, only to have her come over and say she couldn't give us our order because the kitchen was done with brunch. We didn't get brunch and had to order lunch then, which took another 25 minute to get. Without so much as an aplogy or any hint of regret. At the end of our meal we asked to speak to the manager who didn't seem at all to care that we had a bad experience, and that we had been in the restaurant over 2 hours by then. She did not offer an apology either, nor a solution. We asked that 2 of the meals that were incorrect after ordering a second time be removed from the bill. BUT they still charged us for 2 dollar coffee that we had had exactly 1 refill on in 2 hours. LAME, I will not go back here again.
