Fantastico!. A friend suggested we go to Tango after she had had 2 excellent meals there. I have to say that last night's experience, from Mojitos to the Chocolate Diablo is close to the best dining experience I have had in Seattle. We had no reservation, so sat in the bar booths, and I think we had the best seat in the house! After the refreshing Mojito, we sampled the duck confit salad, the amazing potato croquettes, the foie gras, the scallops, tuna stuffed peppers, and the opulent Diablo. The excellent waiter made wine choices for us that were spot on, and the layered, complicated flavors of every single dish shone through every time- Go to Tango for a compelling dining experience!

great food AND service. Have eaten here many times, always great food, great service, and great win selection.

I think the last reviewer speaks for themselves - expecting a free $150 tab cuz of a desert snafu

Good food with Horrible Service. We had a couple vegetarians in the group and were not allowed to make changes in the menu, as the server said that "the chef won't like it". Not once did we get refills on water w/out asking or asked for refills on drinks. To top that off our server messed up our dessert order and brought us 1 dessert when we ordered 2 different ones. When we confronted him with that he said "you are overreacting" and threw our bill on the table and said you're trippin. We asked to talk to the manager he said there was no manager. I asked another server I needed to talk to the manager and he brought the manager/chef out. We explained what happened. Even with the bad service they only took about $20 off the $150 bill. I would expect them to cover the whole thing, with the service they provided.

much better than expected. After spending a couple of hours on City Search to find a new nice restaurant for my wife and I to visit, I, with some trepidation, selected Tango. We are from the East side of the mountains and love our food experiences in Seattle. We arrived late for our 8:00 reservation, dripping wet, after our Taxi driver dropped us off six blocks away. Some of the reviews claimed poor hostessing and service, yet everybody was absolutely wonderful to us. We were seated immediately and got a drink right away. Our waiter (Sennen) was very knowledgeable and picked our menu for us and was spot on. We had a tough start to our night, but it ended so well we are coming back in February with eight of our best friends to relive a wonderful experience.

Good Tapas. This is a very good restaruant for bringing dates. Good food and good atmoshpere.

The Diablo. If you don't try anything else go there for dessert and order the Diablo. Its amazing!

Service was great, the waiter was very helpful offering food and wine suggestions through out our meal!

Outstanding Tango. For my birthday, I went with seven other people to have dinner at Tango. I had never been before and after reading some of the reviews on citysearch, I was a little nervous. The last thing that I wanted to deal with was bad service. Let me just say that Tango was outstanding. We had excellent service from the front door and throughout the night. Our waiter, Sennen, was excellent with his service and with his recommendations. We had our own private room (for no extra cost) and every dish was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Tango for anyone who is open to new types of dishes and is willing to spend a little bit extra. It wasn't a cheap dinner by any means, but I will definitely be visiting Tango frequently.

phenom...!!!. Seated promptly. Sennen D. amazing host with flawful choices of menu and wine. Ahi tuna appetizer (special ceviche) will melt in your mouth. The Mixta Paella deserves a standing ovation! Well worth the price! (This is my first ever review of a restaurant in Seattle (have lived here for 5 years) I felt compelled to write of my experience! Yes! It was THAT good!! ~Ali~

not so happy-hour. A large group of us went to happy hour there, and our service was horrible! Not only did it take forever to get our drinks and tapas, but when the bill came and we asked to have it split, our waiter complained about how much of a hassle it was to split! Very bad customer service, which is sad because the food and Mojitos seemed pretty good. I would not go back again for happy hour.

Great for Large Group. In October, we contacted Tango on short notice to see about the possibility of having a dinner there for over 20 people who were attending a national meeting nearby. The owner was extremely gracious in accommodating us, creating a prix fixe menu and a plan for a happy hour to precede dinner. She developed a plan that allowed for separate checks and arranged for seating that allowed all 22 people to be able to see one another and converse freely. The bartender was skilled, friendly, and fun- creating a great happy hour atmosphere. The kitchen and servers quickly responded to a few last minute changes in our group's plan and needs, and didn't miss a beat. All agreed the food was fabulous- several people returned there for late night happy hour and dinner the following night! Strongly recommend!
