Thursday nights are "Cheap date night".
Tickets are 5$ on Thursday instead of the normal 8$ charge on Friday - Sunday. Thursdays are a good night to go to a show and then catch a dinner near the center.

It's a good place to learn.
The Pacific Science Center is a lot of fun, especially for kids..but adults can learn a thing or two. They have a lot of interesting exhibits. I think the best part of the science center is the imax. The deep sea 3D movie is pretty good. Definately go, it's a great experience!!

Why read about science when you can experience it for yourself?.
The Experience
Both kids and adults can spend a fun afternoon here. Make your way to the Tropical Butterfly House and walk among the butterflies, or visit the naked mole rat display and learn about the world's only cold-blooded mammal. Indoor hands-on exhibits range from robots and computers to climbing walls and reflex tests. On a sunny day, take aim behind one of the water cannons in the courtyard and shoot at giant pinwheels. Or drop by the Tech Zone and become a virtual soccer goalie in a live-action video game. Spend the evening listening to rock or classical music in the laser dome, or watch the latest in Imax technology on a six-story-high screen.
The Background
Pacific Science Center began as the United States Science Pavilion for Seattle's 1962 World's Fair and was later established as an independent, not-for-profit educational foundation.

Needs Revamping.
Same as the Children's Museum. More money should be spent on things for our kids and update the attractions in the Science Center. Some of it is great and interesting, but rather than rebuild and fix the fly man and some of the other stuff in that area, why not use the space for something a bit more inspiring to our children. There is a beauty in science that they need to see and the Science Center is failing in providing that. Please update the exhibits or get rid of them for something better.

Love it!!.
My family and I go there about every few months just to visit and see what we missed before. I love the PSC because it has things for adults and kids to interact with. I guess because I love learning and discovering new things, it would appeal to me, but I love seeing my kids taking an interest and learning on top of it. Definitely something you need a day to explore. Best money spent!!!

Something for everyone.
My son grew up with regular trips to the PSC. He's 17 now and still enjoys visiting. There's something for every age group. Hands on exhibits are great to catch the interest and invite further research. Try to go during the week if you can, as weekends can be crowded.

Family Fun.
We went mid week in spring which was perfect for trying to avoid a crowd. They offer a terrific membership plan for families, which includes some of the Imax movies, the ability to bring up to 5 guests anytime. It had things of interest for every age, which I've found is rare to find at a science center.
