Japanese and Polynesian food unite in a tiki room atmosphere of no judgement midday drinking and sushi. Come for the luaus, stay for trivia.
Maybe I've just been lucky... but.... ... friends also report loving Ohana. I've been there twice, and on both ocassions the sushi was fresh and tasty, and the Beef and Asparagus Teryaki Robata is delicious! The atmosphere is fun, as well.
Oh my Ohana!.
We love the kitch that O'Hanas offers. The sushi is fantastic, especially if you like rolls. We have been searching for a roll similar to the HALF BAKED roll since we had one like it in Dallas, TX! It's a California Roll with Spicy fish on top and then broiled to intensify the yumminess.
Their drinks are also great! Try the Da Band. If you are looking for fun and great food, this is the place.
Always 'Ohana. I love going to 'Ohana. The atmosphere along with the happy hour, keeps me going back for more. The waitstaff is fun and friendly.
Great atmosphere. After reading many reviews, me and my boyfriend decided to check this place out for his birthday. I loved the stringed lights, the bamboo booths, and the tiki hut bar. I thought it was really festive and I also thought that food price range was not all that bad either. Actually, I would consider it pretty cheap compared to most places we usually out at, the food was better than average and the service was quite attentitive. I enjoyed my time there and I would recommend this place for anybody who's in the mood for a light, fesitive dining!
fun atmosphere but so-so food. if you like fun, kitchy places then this will work, but the food is nothing to get excited over. a bit overpriced and not very tasty. ohana is still relatively new, they have a lot of kinks to work out.
Not so great. I heard great things about this restaurant for a while and decided to try it for lunch. I was disappointed......The sushi was less than average, not very fresh. We ordered poke (mixed seasoned sashimi) and it was bland, just spicy. The prices were high compare to the quality of food.
Bring your pals, and you won't find a be. this is a fun place...the food is amazing...nice peoples work there...what more could you want...everytime I go to Ohanas it's great..
Damn Good!!. Thed Food has very nice mixture of Island food with an american touch. Ambiance was festive and tasteful, yet fun and funky.
Not for serious sushi. This place has a fun, if not goofy Hawaiian-Japanese interior with some neat accents and garish ceiling hangings. The atmosphere, and crowd, varies depending on the night. Weekends seem fairly sedate and good for a quick bite and drinks. Wednesday nights offer live music and a predominantly Asian crowd. The sushi caters exclusively to the neophyte and consists mostly of rolls and staple nigiri. If you're there on a Wednesday, don't expect anything to arrive quickly. We ordered sushi and we asked if we wanted anything else before we got our order because the sushi bar was already closing. Other dishes are hit and miss and can be pricey. Worth a visit and a drink at the tiki-hut beach bar.
Great Atmosphere but horrible prices. I thought this was a great place...the ambiance and the people all very nice....till I looked at the menu and the prices!!! come on...that spam dish...i could make at home but at this restaurant you have to pay like $7/$8 for it!!! Overall...the food is ok but i'd rather go eat at McDonalds and then go there to enjoy the people and ambiance just to save on money.
