Fun sandwich spot. We ended up at Honey Hole for lunch yesterday because all of the usual suspects in the neighborhood had long lines. We were not disappointed at all - both of us had excellent sandwiches - I can especially recommend their version of the classic turkey club - and enjoyed the experience. Crowd was diverse and kept coming - there was a line throughout the entire time we were there.
VERY tasty sandwiches!. I ordered a bowl of the veggie chile and it was really good. My husband is still raving about the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. It was pretty affordable too! Great mix of people, fun decor, and conveniently located.
I ruv oney ol (Oh, sorry. My mouth was full of yummy sammy.). Honey Hole does not mess around. They do it and they do it well. Sandwiches! From the meatiest to the most vegan, you will keep coming back. (What do they really put in them?) The atmosphere is great. The dangling decor will leave you plenty to peruse. The music is usually a favorite on your iPod and the staff is no nonsense but always super nice. Check out the daily drink special that is clearly spelled out in neon on the board by the bar that features an awesome cocktail at a fantastic price. Get a craving during the day? Don't fret, my pet. They are open for lunch!
bad service, even for take-away orders.
I ordered 2 sandwiches for pick-up last week and was told over the phone that it would take 20-25 minutes. We arrived to pick the sandwiches up approximately 15 minutes after the call was made. I waited in line to pay for my sandwiches and was told they would be done soon.
We then proceeded to wait an additional 45 minutes on top of the 20 minutes that we had already waited. Finally they gave us our order and did not even apologize for the extremely long wait.
When i went to email them to provide feedback, I could not find an email address so I am posting this review instead. I guess they don't care about customer service.
I don't like the place, too dirty looking..
The sandwich was kind of a downer. I expected better the place really smells great from the street. Lots of bread, not much stuff inside, small sandwices and a tad expensive. I was confused as to how a person orders and was seated, expecting to have some guidance when entering the palace. Don't like my food prepared by a "tatooed guy" with bare hands, coughing all the time.......The decore looks dumb and dirty.
Sorry guys for the bad review, as I live in the neighborhood
Bad Sandwiches. I can't believe people like the sandwiches here. My boyfriend and I ate here the other day while strolling through Capital Hill and while it had a cool atmosphere, the sanwiches sucked. The bread was so dry and so thick, you couldn't taste anything in between. I might stop by for a drink, but the sandwiches need some work.
Best sandwiches in Seattle!. Excellent sandwiches, very reasonable prices. I had the Wave rider... turkey, pesto, red peppers, mustard... yummy! It was really tasty. They toasted the bread really nice too. Some reviews slammed the service level which I think is unfair. This is a sandwich joint... you go to the counter, order your sandwich, sit at the table, they bring your sandwiches to you, you bus your table afterwards. There's not much service required so people shouldn't expect too much. Prices are very reasonable, under $7 for a sandwich that will last me more than 1 meal. Will definitely go back and try their other sandwiches! Come here for the sandwiches and you will not be disappointed.
love love love it. Honey Hole is all I really want in a restaurant. Great food, decent service, good drink specials, good atmosphere, late hours. I've had the Texas Tease a few times and love it. I've enjoyed these great lemonade-vodka-cherry drinks and love those too. It's somewhat small, but not too small. High ceilings, very dark and red, quirky decor but not trying overly hard to be hip. The bar is tiny and kinda tiki. The bartenders and wait staff are good. Prices are appropriate - good food and a lot of it.
Ride the Waverider.... I have been trying to vary what I order at places and get out of my rut. The waitress recommend the waverider to me, and it was REALLY good! Turkey, pesto, red peppers, & gouda. Can't beat a great sandwich that I never would have tried with out a little push. Thank Honey Hole.
Not a Good Experience.
First they lost my order while i waited for 20 minutes missing work. Once i told them of the mistake they offered no appology, no refund, no coupon for a future order. When they finally did get to my sandwhich i got back to my office to find it was burnt to a crisp.
I lost time i away from work, spent my hard earned money, and ended up with a sandwhich I couldnt eat.
Last time i will go there.
