Meat Market. This place sucks. No good music. Just a bunch of desparate singles looking to get laid...which is what you probably wanted anyway. I like places that have real DJ's and good music.
Monday's. I went out on a Monday night and it was the best monday night I've been to in a long time. The DJ played great music, the drinks were not to expensive and were plenty strong and it was just a great atmosphere all the way around.. Loved it, I got every Monday night now.
Trendy Trash. DJ from a local radio station playing the top 10 from each type of music - electronic, rap, r&b, etc, sucked. When I got there (11pm) the ratio of women to men was about 4:1 which was good but I couldn't really groove with the music so left and went to Medusa. Seemed to be a lot of the girls night out / office party types, if that is what you want to do then this is the place for you. Did I mention the light show sucked?
orgasmic food. My friends and I went on a wednesday night after work and the food was well worth the price. The bartending staff was very friendly. We are now going to check out the music on a saturday but will definatly have our work x-mass party there for the food at least.
Waterwho?.
This club has the potential to be fun, but I never see it listed in any of the papers? How are we supposed to know what is going on in this place? For example:
Are there drink specials?
What kind of music is there?
I want to know what is going on inside a club before I pay the cover.
ps having lots of hot chicks never hurts a dance club.
Expensive Taste, Poor choice in Music. I went to this club with my sister a few weeks ago on Saturday and we both agree that the music was terrible. The music was not exciting, and the drinks were extremely overpriced. The crowd was not into the music whatsoever. The DJ was just not into pleasing the crowd and was more into just doing his own thing. Personally, if you want people to come to your club, then you've got to have great music. The DJ was extremely annoying and very distasteful in his choice of music. The club definetly needs someone with an energetic attitude.
Groovy without the amatuers. I loved the music, it covered most genres, but I like the Saturday music, accessible but no Abba, I'm glad that at least one Club can be a bit more current than where the Bridge and Tunnel crowd hangs....I give it a great rating, only because I didn't have to wait for drinks, and it's laid out to people watch. Love the tunes and how clean and nice people were.
Fun for Saturday.
I was there on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago and I had a great time. Took awhile to get crowded, but once everyone was there, they were really into it.
I thought the music was great. Kinda of a mix of fun upbeat house early then into some cool trance that was fun but not too C89 (you all know what I am talking about there)
Good night out overall. Don't know what the deal on Friday is. I'll definitely go back on a Saturday though.
DJ Kinetic...2 thumbs down!!!. I went to this club with a friend a few weeks ago on Friday and Saturday, and both nights were a big disappointment. The club lacks unique and artistic value. The music is not very good, and could be improved if there was a different DJ on Friday and Saturday night. Drinks are really overpriced for the expensive cover charge you pay at the door. The DJ could use some serious help in his attire and music performance. I would not recommend taking the time to check this place out if you are visiting or residing in Seattle. This place deserves a 2 thumbs down!!!
hot damn. You can hear some of the best seattle djs playing the sexiest house on wed night!!!!!!!!!!!!!
