In Short
Built in 1929, the inn evokes the solid, protective aura of visiting grandma's house. Inviting entry nooks, with original brass mailboxes, lead to immaculate and comfy kitchenette apartment-rooms. Fresh curtains, bedspreads on firm mattresses, new carpeting and friendly staff soothe the tired soul. Outside, sip tea or soak up the sun in the lushly landscaped patio courtyard. Strictly a carry-your-own-luggage, no-room-service, walk-the-stairs (no elevators) spot. There's a complimentary shuttle to the top downtown attractions.

Don't even think about staying here. All the bums are outside and the staff are all jerks!! So be warned!!!:-) I would actually rate them a minus 5 because you reviews are only from 1-5.

Before you make reservations please appreciate the fact that this a converted 1930's apartment building- and that there are no elevators or ice machines. Now that we are past that- the room, the ambiance, the front lobby staff and cleaning crew(down to the wonderful maintenance gentleman that carried all of our luggage up to our rooms on the 2nd floor)every thing was beyond amazing- Not to mention the free internet service, cheap parking was a godsend- and the fabulous gourmet market just up the street was perfect with the cute little kitchenette. The landscaping was a welcome surprise coming from a recent snowstorm in Idaho- the little soaps and shampoos smelled wonderful every day. The bed was absolutely comfortable and inviting after late night outings with our friends; as was the deep tub- better than the one we have at home. We will definitely be choosing the Inn at Queen Anne for our next trip back to Seattle- it is so close to every thing that we come to town to see and do- and we loved the fact that the closet is bigger than the one we have here at home!

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! THE SERVICE IS BAD, THEY PROMISE THINGS AND DO NOT DO THEM. THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU WILL GET ON ROOM AND YOU GET NOTHING LIKE IT. THERE IS NO SCREENS ON THE WINDOWS. IF YOU ON THE FIRST FLOOR DO NOT OPEN THE WINDOWS. BETWEEN HOMELESS HANGING OUT AND THE LOUD STREETS ALL NIGHT. THE LOCKS TO THE ROOMS DID NOT LOCK. THE SHUTTLE BUS (WHAT A LAUGH) WOULD DROP OFF BUT NOT PICK UP. IT WAS MORE TO THE DRIVERS CONVIENCE THEN THE COUSTOMER. THE EMPLOYEES THAT MY FAMILY DELT WITH DURING THE DAY WERE RUDE, BUT THE ONES WORKING AT NIGHT WERE GOOD. THE FRONT DESK CLOSES AT 11PM. SO IF YOU NEED SOMETHING THEY WILL NOT BE THERE TO HELP. MY SUGGESTION SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA MONEY ELSEWHERE. IT WILL BE WORTH IT AT ALL COSTS!!!
