In Short – Family owned and operated since 1922, Borracchini's is best known for its birthday cakes. But this Rainier Valley Italian market is well-stocked and easy to navigate. One entire aisle displays imported dried pastas, polenta and risotto; another's a ready-made antipasto platter. The freezer aisle tempts with Borrachini brand alfredo sauce, gnocci, cannelloni and ice creams. The deli case has sub sandwich makings, prepared pasta salads, sandwiches, and hot entree items like chicken parmesan.

We purchased our wedding cake here, they delivered the wrong one. They couldn't find it and said we had to have the one they brought, needless to say it stood out because it was yellow and our wedding was white. Wrong shape, size, flavor and filling. After our honeymoon, my wife called to see what they intended to do. The person was being helpful until a manager grabbed the phone away and said no personal calls and hung up.
