Editorial Review for Grand Hyatt Hotel – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
A wall-sized slab of backlit onyx looms in the lobby. The interior--designed with soft, flowing curves and lit by glass fixtures created by local artisans--evokes the Northwest landscape. The hotel panders to business travelers, providing in-room laptop safes and complimentary Internet/ethernet connections and Wi-Fi. But regular tourists don't get the brush-off by any means. Rooms are outfitted with robes, oversized soaking tubs and--perfect for Seattle winters--an umbrella.

They have the most awesome marble bathroom which includes a soaking tub and seperate glass encased shower. It's huge and the bed is the most comfortable thing i've ever slept on. Best place to stay in Seattle! It's close to everything but you still feel worlds away. It's so high tech, and has everything you'll need. Oh, and breakfast at Ruth's Chris is always welcome. =O)

Pros: Very romantic! The beds are so comfortable! Room service is great!

Cons: Parking is extra.

We LOVE this hotel. The amenities, from the huge luxurious bathroom with a glass-encased shower AND jetted tub to the lovely room with privacy and high tech shade-switches, doorbell, and electronic Do Not Disturb sign, to the lovely restaurant, front desk service, and general 'getaway' atmosphere. This place is a getaway within the city. As a native of Seattle, it's by far the most impressive hotel I've ever stayed in. We stay here frequently to get away from hectic stress, yet keeping in touch with the beauty of Seattle. Lazing around the hotel on a weekend is perfect, as we often find ourselves looking out towards the sound, watching ferries going to Bainbridge.

Pros: Service, Rooms, Amenities, Food, Privacy, Atmosphere

Cons: Parking, Rates

This massive monument to decadent, high-tech hospitality is the most expensive sleep in town.  See the full editorial review.
