Dania Furniture Ruined My Life Forever.
Shopping at Dania Furniture was the worst decision I ever made in my life. Long story short, I was charged $75 for delivery, and they failed to deliver the couch I ordered. After days and days of bickering with them, they finally refunded my money, but seriously...how can a company charge a customer a fee when they don't actually complete the task? I paid for *delivery*, so the couch actually has to make it in my apartment so I can actually sit on/own it.
This is a terrible company to deal with; I've neever experienced such their terrible customer service. I was so incensed with this entire experienced that I launched my own blog, Dania Screwed Me. It has now become my lifelong mission to educate the public, so they can avoid such a consumer mishap
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!.
I have bought 3-4 pieces at Diana now and can not believe the horrible service I've had to deal with. What should have been an easy buy took over a month and a half of screw ups for me to finally get my pieces. After buying one of the pieces, I was told to come by in a week to pick it up. After sitting thru traffic, I finally get there only to be told "oops, they forgot to actually order it" even though they charged me already! I had to wait another week to pick it up, but I asked for it to be sent to the downtown store closer to my home. A week later, someone calls to tell me they screwed up again and marked it for delivery, but since I didn't want that it means it would take longer to pick up. As for the other pieces, I was charged twice for the wrong amount, my card had to be reimbursed twice and I'm still waiting to pick it up.
Dania does have good prices from time to time, but be prepared to deal with more hassle then it's worth.
Style meets affordability in this must-stop shop for first time renters, home owners or the budget-conscious..
In Short
Dania has made a solid reputation for itself as a great place to find trendy furnishings at low prices. Not to be dismissed as an upgraded IKEA, Dania makes contemporary furniture for home and office in modish designs, with sturdy materials and good quality fabrics. The front half of the showroom holds contemporary living, dining and bedroom furnishings, while the far side of the shop is dedicated to chairs, way-out-there home designs and modern office furniture.
The worst customer service/ rude staffs. I drove one hour through the downtown traffic to get there before 6pm in order to order dining set, which I already saw earlier. I got there at 5:55pm and the door was already locked. I saw one skinny lady in her 40's-50's with light brown/ dark blonde hair and told her I just needed to order the dining set when she let a customer out. I didn't need to shop around and already knew what I want and just needed to place an order which will take 2 minutes. She completely ignored me without even saying "sorry". I've never been treated so poorly in any stores. No matter how good overall value for the store is, I will NEVER go back to DANIA. The manager needs to train their staffs better. (hopefully she was not the manager)
affordable modern furniture. great modern furniture store. variety of pieces and affordable prices. one down side is that lots of their furniture comes from italy, so if they don't have it in stock, chances are you'll have to wait weeks or months for it to come in.
