Tips for P.F. Chang's

Bell Square Chinese. While not authentic it is good and consistent time and time again. During lunch they offer $7.95 rice bowls which is a killer deal as the entrees are priced on the high side otherwise. I have yet to find, on the eastside, a cheap Chinese restaurant I hear others talking of. PF Changs always has a mix of customers from couples to families although unlike Red Robin not littered with groups of pre-teens.

The mongolian beef ordered as is is blah, I can't believe it is their most popular dish. The mongolian beef with added snow peas ($1 more) and spicy is incredible - a must try!! The beef is wok fried so tender without being chewy.

Chicken lettuce wraps are always a great choice and messy yet fun to eat. Only after eating them there did I start making at home (kids love eating their vegetables this way.)

I liked the Chang's Chicken although my date didn't. Again the meat was tender and solid white pieces. Sometimes you could taste the flour/cornmeal coating which was a bit off.

Had a number of their scallop dishes and all were good without being overly fishy. I liked the Kung Pao best as the peanuts were a nice crunch against delicate scallops. For the price plenty of seafood was included.

Fake Asian Crap. Horrible Crap only Non-Asians would eat... Only Fools would pay such a Ridiculous Price for Fake Asian Crap thought up by a European Chef who has no understanding of Real Asian Cuisine...

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Cuisine Limousine Delivery/Catering 100% Sucess. Wonderful job PF Changs did today for our Buffet-Family Style CuisineLimo arranged for takeout today. The catering order was for 130 people (Good size group) Although there are many great choices of chinese restaurants around Bellevue- Redmond. Many of our Clients are extremely happy with PF Changs Chinese. CuisLimo has a great relationship with the head/sue chefs and admen?s (Maybe that increases the wonderful service. Today for lunch we included a separate smaller buffet for Gluten Free. That went very well. Note: PF. Changs and CuisineLimo met in person and talked via 467-8008/637-3582 days in advance. All the catered takeout items looked and tasted fresh and flavorful as CuisineLimo Catering team kept the buffet line always appetizing for each wave of high tower offices workers. PF Chang's have earned trust to consistently prepare food in a timely manor. As Cuisine Limousine has token mutable thousands of PF Changs custom take out food to Kirkland, Redmond, massive amounts in Bellevue. PF Changs * has improved our local based multi restaurant food catering delivery service. Mmmmmm. I liked this place. The food and service were both good.

I must say that for a large party the "family" style didn't really cut it for us. We weren't sure how much to order and it's strange to order for a large group of people whom you don't really know.

Other than that, everything was great.

Quality Depends on Who's Cooking that Day?. First of all, this P.F. Chang's has never impressed those that know good Chinese cooking. This particular restaurant needs to find new chefs. The food is over-spiced, salty (not good for your b.pressure), and caters more to those use to non-authentic Asian cuisine. I do like their novel way of greeting you by bringing the bottles of vinegar, soy sauce, hot sauce and the waiter personally mixes these with the Chinese mustard to your liking. Nice gimmick. Their dishes have beautiful presentation; but taste is sacrificed at the hands of an unqualified, perhaps overzealous chef. We ate at a P.F. Changs (with much reluctance after our experience in Bellevue, WA) in Santa Clara, CAlifornia; and I must say, they knocked our socks off. Not only was the service impeccable, but the food was pleasing to the palate. Their chicken moo shu was average, but the sweet and sour pork was mouthwatering and their candied walnuts and prawns were out of this world! Plus, this prawn dish included bits of honeydew melon. That fruit enhanced the overall flavor and married well with the sweet mayonaise sauce. We often order this walnut prawn dish in other Chinese restaurants, but this P.F. Chang's in California wins the prize.

Tasty Americanized Chinese Food. It gets really busy here, but the food is great. I love the green beans and the honey chicken. Atmosphere is cozy in a good and bad way, and sometimes the tables are a little close together. It's a little pricey for Chinese food, especially since it's americanized chinese food. However it's worth the crowd.
