I stop in here now and again. Sometimes for a happy hour snack, sometimes for dinner. It is a nice place to hang out. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. I do not feel compelled to write reviews very often but my last experience at this establishment left a rather sour taste in my mouth. It was a very nice evening about a week ago. It was unseasonably warm. I noticed that the deck was open so I stopped in. It seemed quite busy on the deck. My waittress was very pleasant and seemed happy to be able to serve the outside tables. There was another employee, an older woman, that seemed very unhappy about having to serve outside. She was very loud and rude. I have seen her there a few other times but have never had her as my waittress. I found her behavior and attitude extremely unprofessional. She seemed grumpy and irritable and very inappropriately vocal about her displeasure. I found her to be rude and abrasive. I was happy she was not my server. I would recomend this place for the food (Seafood bruschetta and thin crust pizza) and the usually fun and casual atmosphere. I just hope your waittress is not the rude older woman who works there.

We have new owners and a new outlook. Look for some major changes starting with weekend brunch beginning April 5th 2008. every Saturday and Sunday 9 am-2 pm. Also look for an expanding menu for dinner 4-10 pm and our happy hour 4-6 pm everyday. Come and see the exciting changes taking place at the Acorn Eatery and bar.
