This petite store carries carefully selected decorative arts and gifts, from imported jewelry and pillows to special-order lamps and furniture.. The Scene
It's a Queen Anne neighborhood setting, with moms, nannies, professionals, and dog-walkers dropping in as if this were their own cozily decorated den. The owner invites you to sit and chat, happy to explain anything that piques your interest such as that vaulted door (a Mosler safe from the 1920s) draped with jewelry, fabrics and home decorations.

The Goods
Top of the list is French pewter jewelry, especially rings and necklaces ranging from $28 to $90. Special-order lamps (from $235 to $595) incorporate two types of lampshade fabric, capped with exquisite finials. Also popular are mirrors and clocks; handmade tables and chairs; and one-of-a-kind wiggly-shaped candlesticks from Poland. Smaller items include pumice in the shape of feet, feng shui and French soaps (smell the garden lettuce and cherry tomato scents), cards and candle.
