Editorial Review for SkinLogic Skin Center – by Hannah Levin
The Scene
The spa's singular mission to promote healthy skin is evident when you enter the spartan, spotlessly clean lobby and are greeted by friendly aestheticians wearing pure white uniforms, minimal makeup and warm smiles. After filling out a detailed set of forms specifying your health habits, current skin-care methods and cosmetic objectives, you'll have a face-to-face consultation with your aesthetician. Although they're obviously big advocates of Dermalogica products, there's virtually no sales pressure.
The Services
The signature custom facial is a full hour of personalized pampering, including hand, neck and decolletage massage, careful cleansing, steaming, exfoliating and some of the most gentle extractions you'll ever experience. More in-depth customization is available via specialized treatments for dehydrated menopausal skin, acne or rosacea.
The Details
Massage, body treatments, facials, medi-spa treatments, hair removal.

I've had lots of facial through the years and they've been relaxing but not very effective. I recently had the best facial of my life with Amy. She was FANTASTIC! My skin looked amazing afterwards, I had a glow (?) She sugested a few products but there was no pressure at all. She was really patient with all my questions. And my skin still looks great so I think her sugestions were right on the mark. I'll definetly go back to see Amy again. I haven't seen anyone else there, so I can't say what the other estiticans r like but I can't say enough great things about the gal I saw. However, the music is irritating most of it is new age stuff that I don't care for but there was even a lullaby. So if you can get past that and some parking issues it is definetly worth every dime. :)
Pros: Amy, glow
Cons: Parking, music

I have been a client at Skinlogic since they opened. Scott and Rebecca have created a wonderful place for quality skin care. The services are comprehensive, tailored to your individual needs. I have sensitive skin since being chemically exposed a number of years ago. My facials have allowed my skin to calm down; it looks and feels healthy and hydrated. Skinlogic has something for everyone.
