Editorial Review for Odyssey Dining Cruise – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Three climate-controlled decks offer a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy this fine-dining cruise. The executive chef prepares gourmet appetizers, entrees and desserts, complemented by wine and other cocktails. Jackets are recommended for dinner cruises, but dress is casual during brunch and lunch. The Odyssey II departs from the south side of Navy Pier.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 yr wedding anniversary here during a Saturday brunch cruise. It was great! All the staff was very friendly. We received complimentary champagne, as did everyone else. The buffet food was pretty good and very plentiful. It was refreshed and available during the entire 2hr cruise so you could eat when you wanted as many times as you wanted. The views of the city were great, the ship was very clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend it for a celebration for 2. Only not so great thing, was the tables were very close together. But on a beautiful day, you'll probably be outside enjoying the observation deck most of the time anyway. We definately got our money's worth! P.S Skip the $25 window seat option (there are great views from every seat and you'll be outside most of the time anyway). Skip the $20 photo, bring your own camera, plenty of people offered to take our picture.
Pros: Ambience, beautiful ship, great for celebrating something
Cons: Tables very close together

I loved the food and dancing and views. But it was nothing special if your looking to go on a cruise that does include the good food and dancing and city views the odessy is not the only one that offers these pluses. Just look at Navy Pier at all the different selections that offer the same things but they're easier to get into and will save you a buck or two!
