The Horror!. Foul and disgusting. The place smells like urine and I think I got Hepatitis there. The food is well, just don't eat anything there and for God's sake...don't touch anything!

First Hill hideout serves Mexican eats and house beats to the hip and curious.. The Scene
Neon lights and Peeping Tom windows create a secret society air, leading passers-by to wonder, "who goes into that place?" Once inside play pool, groove to the DJ or simply park at the U-shaped bar and partake of the high-end tequilas, or sip a Mojito--rum, lime and enough mint to keep you fresh all night long.

The Draw
The sexy staff, red lights, exposed brick walls and booths private enough for lip locking leave little room for the un-cool. So come when you are feeling your most dashing and snack on tacos, pork flautas or the cheesy bean dip. Just be sure to check your breath before approaching members of the opposite sex.

Don't miss happy hour!. After a lengthy hiatus, we have returned to Adobo and it again tops our list for happy hour picks! If you work even remotely nearby, don't miss their M-Th 5:00-6:00 happy hour...the $3 food specials are outstanding. Nachos, pork tacos, the Caesar salad, and queso are can't miss favorites. Without a doubt, however, the secret weapon of Adobo is their margarita. On the rocks, with or without salt...their concoction is the best use of tequila in the city. And believe me...I've checked this out...

Relax, Drink, and Eat. I've gone to Adobo several times and have never been let down. The food is consistently good -- prawn tacos and fajitas hit the spot. Bartenders usually pour it heavy and there's a good selection of tequilas. The place is dark with funky decor. There's a pool table in the back and a weird "outdoor" area with no roof (view is the sky). Music is quirky, sometimes bordering on bad -- they have a DJ area where random people try their hand (and sometimes feet). But no big deal -- you don't go here to dance but to talk -- the music doesn't get too loud. Atmosphere is just right but don't go here to impress a date, go here to relax.
